Kai got his first exposure to improvisation at Hampshire College in 1998. After taking an 11-year hiatus, Kai decided to revisit improv after taking home 1st place in Jet City Improv's 1st annual Seattle's Most Awesome Karaoke Performance Ever in 2009 with a heart-felt rendition of Styx’s "Mr. Roboto." A few months after setting foot in Improv 101, Kai was cast in his first Wing-It Productions show, and he hasn’t looked back ever since. In additon to his various shows on the Wing-It stage, Kai has appeared in other improvised shows around the city, including 5 Thieves, Seven Minutes in Heaven, and Breaking News. Kai is also a co-founder of local improv troupe Interrobang?!. When he isn’t on stage, Kai enjoys ultimate frisbee and baking, occasionally at the same time. No, seriously.
