Laura graduated in 2004 from the University of Washington with a Bachelor's degree in English, and then followed that up with a Masters of Arts in Teaching from The Johns Hopkins University in 2006. By day, she teaches high school English/Language Arts. By night she can be found performing as part of The SheSpot - a two-woman improv team she founded with the lovely Lauren Skelton in 2009. She also likes to dabble in costuming and sewing, and she hopes to achieve karaoke greatness. Laura discovered her love of improv when her mom suggested that she take some classes in order to get out of the house and meet some people. Apparently that worked out.
