Jet City Improv offers a variety of classes for all levels of interest and experience. Whether you're a beginner who wants to learn the basics or a veteran player looking for a workout, we have a class for you.

ADULT IMPROV CLASSES: Beginning Level

IMPROV DOJO: Every Monday Night. Drop-in, come-as-you-are, cheap-as-heck workouts


Each of the following courses are 8 weeks long, one night per week.

IMPROV 101: Welcome to the Monkey House (Intro to Improv) Students discover the basic vocabulary and technique of improv through scenes and games in a fun, welcoming environment.
IMPROV 101 EASTSIDE The same Improv 101 class listed directly above... in Redmond!
IMPROV 102: Game On (Short Form Basics) Applying the techniques learned in the intro class, students focus on game-play, cultivating confidence, and fun.

IMPROV 103: Advanced Playtime (Intro to Performance) Beginning classes finish up with this course designed to sharpen scene skills, enlarge game repertoire, and equip students with performance techniques

Students must complete Improv 101-103 and get teacher approval to move on to the next level.


ADULT IMPROV CLASSES: Intermediary Level

Each of the following courses are 8 weeks long, one night per week.

IMPROV 201: It's Alive! (Character Laboratory) The focus is on character. Students learn how to create hilarious, lush characters through physicality, emotional core and making BIG choices.
IMPROV 202: The Art of Narrative (Storytelling) Learn storytelling techniques that will take scenes to the next level. Students will create sophisticated plotlines and learn to make the big narrative leaps. - Returning later in 2014

Students must complete Improv 201 & 202 and get teacher approval to move on to the next level.






ADULT IMPROV CLASSES: Performance Level

Each of the following courses are 8 weeks long, one night per week.

IMPROV 301: Applying Skills to Performance: Students will learn to apply the skills they've accumulated throughout previous levels to a performance. The instructor will provide a basic template and direct students as they plug games and formats into this structure. - Coming in 2014
THE PERFORMANCE SERIES Students create, rehearse and perform their own run of shows from conceptualization to curtain call - Coming in 2014
