High School Classes at the HUT!
Jet City Improv is dedicated to our educational programs, and we provide the highest quality improv training available to high schoolers. In addition to our regularly scheduled classes at the HUT, we offer in-school and after-school programs at local high schools. Call today if you'd like to set up a program at your school!
We offer both beginning and advanced high school improv classes at our theater. As an added bonus, each student enrolled in our programs will receive a free pass to see as many improv shows at our theater as he/she would like during the time of the class! Our Jet City Improv shows are all-ages appropriate. Below is the information about upcoming sessions.
SUMMER 2008 SHORT-FORM H.S. IMPROV CLASS INTENSIVE
In this class you'll learn the fundamentals of Improv such as Yes And, CROW, Narrative, and Verbal/Physical Restriction. You'll practice the same games you see at Jet City Improv each weekend, and at the end of the class, you'll put on your very own short-form improv show!

This class rehearses for 1 week, two and a half hours a day. July 14 - 18, M-F 3-5:30pm. There will be a final showcase on Sunday July 20 at 7pm. |

SUMMER 2008 ADVANCED H.S. IMPROV CLASS INTENSIVE
In this class you will work together as a team to create your own original long-from improv show. Long-form focuses on scenework, themes, characters, and storytelling. You will work together with your Director to chose a theme, do research on that theme, and create the format for the show.

To qualify for registration, you must have taken a high school improv class with Jet City Improv before, OR you must have been part of a high school improv team for at least 6 months.
