High School Training Program

Jet City Improv is dedicated to our educational programs, and we provide the highest quality improv training available to high-schoolers. When students learn improvise, they learn valuable skills such as public speaking, narrative, confidence in front of an audience, teamwork, communication, and creative problem solving.

We come to YOUR school. We offer residency programs that are customized to meet the needs of the students and administration. Our standard package includes:

12 hours of instruction over 6 classes, your choice of days and times.

A highly trained teaching artist from the Jet City Improv cast will lead classes.

A final 45-minute showcase performance at the Historic University Theatre.

Students receive FREE passes to Jet City Improv shows during the run of the program!

Our format stresses performance rather than competition!

Our small class size (16 students) gives each student individual attention!

Due to generous grants, we are able to offer this program to schools for only $500!

Jet City Improv brings a higher plane of comedy to the northwest with weekly improv shows as well as workshops and performances for schools and businesses. Jet City Improv provides a unique show, blending family appropriate humor with edge-of-your-seat comedy.

PS- In addition to a great learning opportunity, you can use this residency to set up an after-school improv troupe at your school, or to form a team for the Seattle Open High School Improv Competition!
