Wheelchairs Our theater is on ground-level, and we have wheelchair seating areas. Feel free to contact us ahead of time to reserve these areas: 206.352.2891 or info@jetcityimprov.com.
Hearing Impaired We cannot supply an ASL interpreter. You are welcome to bring one of your own (email us at info@jetcityimprov.com to let us know if you are bringing an interpreter), however our style of performance is very
difficult to do live ASL interpretation to, since we are a fast-paced improv show and do not have a script. The dialogue is live and improvised, so there are no subtitles.
Visually Impaired We do permit seeing-eye dogs.
History
Twisted Flicks was first performed Halloween night, 1997, at the Ethnic Cultural Theater in Seattle. The Flicks replaced the regular Jet City Improv show that night
and was billed as a team-up with Northwest Harvest, a relationship that still exists today. The show was originally a one-time event to draw crowds during the
holiday, but the very unusual, extremely funny combination of old "B" movies and improv was a hit with the audience and improvisers alike, and immediately
became the second show Wing-It Productions regularly produced. First seen only once a month, the Flicks soon expanded to two, then the current three
performances a month.
Twisted Flicks continues to draw large audiences and very devoted fans that arrive at the HUT every month to take in a Twisted
Flick take on a another great old movie.
