Summer Matthews

Summer Matthews is a ninth grader at Nova High School. She grew up in a house hold of creativity. Her mother a jazz singer, father a painter/african drum teacher, sister an opera singer, other sister an actress, and brother a MC/drummer. Growing up in this environment, she would always make movies, and any other types of art relating to performance arts. She has taken several classes at SCT, Alternative School #1, and at Jet City Improv. She’s always had a passion for acting, and more recently film making. At Centrum Arts Camp, Summer took a course focusing on film making. She learned how to be the director of photography, manage the lights and sound, and edit the films she creates on Final Cut Pro.

This is Sophia's 2nd quarter with the VIPS program.
